Francesco Coggiola back in Uganda Francesco is back in Uganda, in Kampala, this time with Dr Giacomo Bonavita and Professor Raffaele Dalla Valle, and here is his logbook. 21 February: meeting at the embassy with H.E. Ambassador to Uganda Dr Mauro Massoni 22 February: child with flu in Kampala, Combonian home. In the afternoon, distribution of WECARE T-shirts to many children in the Bishop Caesar Asili Memorial Hospital BCAH in Luweero for check-ups and therapies. Delivery of the ultrasound scanner to the director of the BCAH sister Ernestine Akulu with administrative director Rosemary Nassuna. In the photo Professor Raffaele Dalla Valle oncologist surgeon at the University of Parma, member of the Rotary Club Parma Farnese, Dr Giacomo Bonavita surgeon in Frankfurt and the ultrasound technician. In the foreground the Esaote ultrasound with 3 probes and the current rectifier. In the cauldron, posho, a kind of polenta flour, is cooked and served with beans. 29 February: Dr Giacomo Donavita tries his hand at preparing pasta, after struggling in the operating theatre.
